Returning to the Anchor Scripture & Weekly Practice

Before moving forward, we return to what has held us this week.

The Word for the Way: Matthew 11:28-30 (The Message)
"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly."

Let this scripture rest in you today. It is not something to master, but something to walk with. A whisper to return to.

The Practice to Carry: Stepping Through the Threshold
Before Week Two begins, take a moment to reflect:

  • What did it mean to step through the threshold this week?

  • Did you hesitate? Did you rush forward? Did you notice something unexpected?

Thresholds are rarely crossed once. They are returned to again and again.

If you feel led, physically step through a doorway today with presence—pause, breathe, and notice what you carry forward.
