Reflect on Week Two’s Journey

Sunday Reflection: Letting the Wilderness Speak

The wilderness is not a place of easy answers. It does not resolve itself neatly, nor does it leave us unchanged.

This week, we have walked through hunger—the kind that goes beyond the body and reaches into the soul. We have stood in silence, allowed lament to rise, and loosened our grip on what does not nourish. We have faced the ache of uncertainty and been asked to trust, even when nothing felt certain.

Now, before we move forward, we pause.

Find a quiet space. Breathe. Let yourself be still.

Ask yourself:

  • What has surprised me in this week of wilderness?

  • Where have I noticed resistance, and what is it asking of me?

  • What am I learning to release?

  • Where have I met God—not in certainty, but in presence?

  • How has this journey shaped me, even in small ways?

Write, if you feel led. Or simply sit with these questions, letting them settle like seeds into the soil of your being.

Not all change is immediate. Not all transformation is seen. But something has shifted. The work is slow, unseen, but it is real.

You do not have to have everything figured out to continue. You do not have to leave the wilderness with every question answered.

You only have to keep walking.

And so, as this week ends, whisper to yourself:

"I do not walk alone. Even here, I am being held."

Take one last breath in this space before stepping forward. The journey continues.
